Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are intended to set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between Jiwootech Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and users in connection with the use of the website (the “Site”) operated by the Company.

Article 1 (Definitions)

“Site” means smartils.kr operated by the Company and all webpages ancillary thereto.
“User” means any person who accesses and uses the Site in accordance with these Terms.
“Content” means all text, images, documents, logos, designs, materials, programs, and other items posted or provided by the Company on the Site.
“Inquiry / Consultation” means an act by which a User contacts the Company or requests consultation, a demo, materials, or similar support through the inquiry function of the Site.

Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Terms)

The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the Site so that Users can easily review them.
The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendment does not violate applicable laws and regulations. If the Company amends these Terms, it will provide notice of the effective date and the reason for the amendment from at least 7 days prior to the effective date. However, amendments that are unfavorable to Users may be announced from at least 30 days in advance.
If a User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User may stop using the Site. If the User continues to use the Site after notice of the amendment, the User shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 3 (Services)

The services provided by the Company through the Site include the following:
 
• Introduction to Smart ILS (LOTO / ILS / K-LOTO) solutions and provision of related materials
• Receipt of and response to inquiries / consultations / demo requests
• Provision of notices and other information
 
※ The Site is primarily intended to provide information for corporate customers and to receive inquiries. It does not provide online payment or purchase functions.

Article 4 (Obligations of Users)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:
 
• Misappropriating another person’s information or entering false information
• Infringing the intellectual property rights or other rights of the Company or any third party
• Interfering with the operation of the Site or disrupting normal service provision, including excessive traffic generation or attempts to attack vulnerabilities
• Posting illegal or harmful information, or transmitting spam or advertising information
• Any act contrary to applicable laws or public order and morals

Article 5 (Management of Posts and Content)

If the Company determines that any content posted or transmitted by a User violates applicable laws or these Terms, the Company may take measures such as deletion, blocking, or restriction without prior notice.
The Company may change, modify, or delete Content on the Site from time to time for information provision purposes.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

The copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Content posted on the Site, including documents, images, logos, designs, and text, belong to the Company or the legitimate rights holder.
Users may not use the Content of the Site for commercial purposes or in any equivalent manner, including reproduction, distribution, transmission, display, or creation of derivative works, without the Company’s prior written consent.
The Company’s trademarks, logos, and service names, including Smart ILS, Smart LOTO, and K-LOTO, are protected as the rights of the Company, and unauthorized use is prohibited.

Article 7 (Use of the Inquiry Function)

When using the inquiry / consultation function of the Site, Users shall provide information based on facts, and the Company may request additional verification if necessary.
For the purpose of responding to an inquiry, the Company may reply using the contact information provided by the User, and may retain inquiry records for a certain period to improve consultation quality and respond to disputes. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
The Company may restrict or refuse a response if the User’s inquiry falls under any of the following:
 
• Repetitive or malicious inquiries
• Inquiries intended for illegal acts or infringement of rights
• Matters for which the facts cannot be verified

Article 8 (Restriction or Suspension of Service)

The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of services if any of the following occurs:
 
• System inspection, maintenance, replacement, or system failure
• Force majeure such as natural disasters, power outages, or network failures
 
If service interruption is expected, the Company will provide prior notice to the extent possible. In urgent cases, notice may be given afterward.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

The Company shall not be liable where it is unable to provide services due to a natural disaster or any force majeure event equivalent thereto.
The Company shall not be liable for any interruption of service use caused by reasons attributable to the User.
The information posted on the Site is for general guidance purposes. Although the Company endeavors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of such information, it does not guarantee suitability for any specific purpose of a User.
The Company does not intervene in disputes between Users or between a User and a third party, and shall not be liable for any damage arising therefrom.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
If a dispute arises between the Company and a User in connection with the use of the Site, the parties shall endeavor to resolve it amicably through mutual consultation.
If such consultation does not resolve the dispute, the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
