Jiwootech Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act, and establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy as follows to protect users’ personal information and to promptly and smoothly handle related grievances.

1. Purposes of Processing Personal Information

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information processed will not be used for purposes other than those listed below, and if the purpose changes, the Company will take necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent.

• Handling inquiries / consultations / demo requests: receiving inquiries, verifying identity, delivering responses,
and managing consultation history
• Service provision and contract performance (for corporate customers): introduction consultation, quotations / proposals,
and contract / settlement-related work
• Website operation and security: managing access records, ensuring service stability, preventing improper use, and
responding to security incidents
• Notices / information: delivering policy changes and notices, where necessary

2. Items of Personal Information Processed

The Company may process the following items of personal information.

2.1 When making an inquiry / consultation / demo request

• Required: name (contact person), email, contact number (telephone number), company name, inquiry details
• Optional: job title / department, intended scope of introduction (plant / process / facility), attachments
(if voluntarily provided by the user)

2.2 Items that may be collected automatically during website use

• IP address, access date and time, browsing history, User-Agent, cookie / session information, referrer
• Logs for detection of improper use / security (e.g. repeated login failures, abnormal request patterns, etc.) 
※ The Company does not, in principle, collect unique identification information such as resident registration numbers
or passport numbers.

3. Period of Processing and Retention of Personal Information

The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and usage period prescribed by law or within the period consented to by the data subject at the time of collection.
 
• Inquiry / consultation / demo request records: retained for 1 year after the purpose is achieved and then destroyed
(up to 3 years if necessary for dispute response)
• Contract / settlement-related information: retained for the period required under applicable laws and regulations
(e.g. where the relevant retention period under consumer protection laws for e-commerce applies)
• Access / security logs: retained for up to 1 year within the scope necessary for security and service stability

Any such changes will be announced through this Policy.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company does not, in principle, provide personal information to third parties. However, exceptions apply in the following cases:
 
• Where the data subject has given prior consent
• Where specifically required by law or unavoidable to comply with legal obligations

5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

The Company does not, in principle, entrust the processing of users’ personal information to outside service providers.
 
If, in the future, the Company entrusts the processing of personal information in order to provide services, it will conclude outsourcing contracts in accordance with applicable laws, manage and supervise the entrusted party, and disclose / notify the fact of entrustment (entrusted party, details of outsourced work, etc.) in advance through this Privacy Policy.

These rights may be exercised through written documents, email, etc., and the Company will take action without delay. However, access may be restricted or refused in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Destruction of Personal Information

The Company destroys personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as upon expiration of the retention period or achievement of the processing purpose.
 
• Electronic files: permanently deleted in a manner that cannot be recovered
• Paper documents: shredded or incinerated

8. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information

The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:
 
• Administrative measures: establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular employee training
• Technical measures: access control management, retention of access records and prevention of tampering / falsification,
encryption (including TLS for transmission), operation of security programs
• Physical measures: access control to computer rooms / document storage rooms, where applicable

The Company may use cookies to provide customized services to users. Users may refuse the storage of cookies through browser settings, but some functions may be limited.

11. Changes to this Policy
